Streetshots from Indonesia

It has been quite a while since I updated my blog. I miss it but it seems that I rarely get on my laptop these days.

Anyhow, I went to Indonesia in the Christmas holidays and it was such a relief that I could actually take some street shots comfortably. How I have missed it because it is quite hard to do it in Kuwait, my country. Those are with my iPhone and edited with camera+.

The Streets of New York

I was in New York last week. It was so hot that I would enter shops and cafes every now and then just for a the ac lol. I tried to take some shots with iPhone and my film cameras. I don’t really remember what I took but I will be able to process them in a week or so to see. The album below features some shots I took and edited with my iPhone during my stay there.

Walkabout

Nowadays I take Holga with me almost every time I go out. Here, I used Fuji Pro 400 for the colour pictures and Lomography’s 400 B&W film. I did not like Lomography’s film. If you look closely at the church photograph, you will see the numbers / dots on the back of film. I don’t know why as I never had this problem before but I got numbers and dots on most of the photos of this film. I wonder if it would happen again. I have two more films as the pack has 3 rolls. I will try again and see what happens.

Those are in Rolle, Lausanne and Aubonne in Switzerland.

Venice through Holga

I took my Holga 120N on my last trip to Venice, Italy and took three film rolls with it. I am falling more and more in love with this camera and I think it will become a basic that I will always take with me when I travel. For these shots, I used Portra 400 except for the last three pics, they are from a Lomography 200 film roll.
