Here I am again, in a Holga mood! I am in love with this camera. Although while I am shooting I feel the whole film is ruined, the results always take me by surprise! I love how sharp and vibrant they can be. Here are some shots I took two weeks ago. I used Lomography 100 film for those pictures and I am impressed with the results.
              I know it has been quite a while since I last posted here, six months to be precise. Let me begin by wishing you a very happy new year everyone! 2011 was quite a year to remember so let us hope 2012 will be a better one, bringing everyone lots of joy and happiness. So, what have I been doing? Well, I have not stopped photographing if you thought I did. I must say, I have been using my iPhone mostly lately as well as shooting with my film cameras to experiment with different films. I will be posting on film photography soon but let me start by sharing photos from the most important thing I did last year. Yes, I went to Hajj in October. It was the best and most unique trip I have been to. I was so scared before going but when it was over, it felt so good and amazing. Though I must say, I terribly miss it. To this day, I miss the wonderful people, the holy places and the whole spiritual atmosphere I was in. I still can not pull myself out of it. It changed me drastically. I would do it again, if I could. Anyways, let us go back to photography because if I start talking about the trip, I will not stop. I took more photos in Madina than in Mekka mainly because in Mekka we had rituals to do so I did not have time to concentrate on photography. I think Madina is the perfect place for street photography. So beautiful, so fresh and you see interesting faces from all over the world. Mekka is another thing, once you get there, you will not be able to take your eyes off the Ka`ba. You just get this indescribable feeling towards it. I love it…why i havent seen this before? there is some amazing ones, you should have posted them in IG, and i love the one in the Qibah mosque, i waited for some with ihram but i was not lucky, yours is amazing.

Thank you! I posted many of them on Instagram but not all of them I guess.. some moments just come to you, you know and I guess I was lucky to be there when the moments were there. I’m in love with lomography. Some people may not like it for the low resolution or think it’s just playing with a toy camera. However, to me it’s an art that is both fun and unpredictable. No matter how you think your pictures may turn out, you will always be surprised by the results. The first camera I got is Holga . Here are some of the first pictures I took with it. My Diana F+ has just arrived! Once i develop them I’ll post some of the best pix i had taken even though i doubt i’ll be able to master one photo
